ABOUT THE CLACTON GAMES
The Clacton Games is a free, satirical browser game made for the 2026 Clacton by-election. It is a work of comedy and political parody in the British seaside-postcard tradition.
INDEPENDENCE & FAIRNESS
- This game is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any candidate, political party, or campaign.
- It does not encourage anyone to vote for anybody. It encourages people to press buttons quickly.
- Both playable characters have identical stats, and the computer opponent is tuned so that each champion wins roughly half the time. Equal comic weight is a design rule, not an accident.
- The characters depicted are caricatures based on the public personas of public figures, in the long tradition of British political satire. No real events, allegations, or private matters are depicted.
CHARACTER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Count Binface is the creation of comedian Jon Harvey. The character in this game is an affectionate, original-pixel-art homage, not a copy of the actual costume. If you are the rights holder of anything referenced here and want something changed or removed, contact us and we will act quickly and cheerfully.
PRIVACY
- No accounts, no cookies, no advertising, no analytics profiles, no personal data collected.
- Your settings and best times live only in your own browser.
- We keep one anonymous global tally: total plays, which champion players pick, and who wins. It contains no information about you.
THE EXIT POLL
The running totals shown in-game (and available as JSON for the press at this address) are a count of video-game button presses. They are scientifically worthless and should influence nobody's vote, opinion, or breakfast.
